RULES & REGULATIONS FOR MINORS
Anyone who is over the age of 12 by January 9, 2015 may attend Sherlock Seattle. A minor as defined by the State of Washington is anyone under the age of 18 as of January 9, 2015.
Minors 15 and under must be accompanied at all times by a guardian (a parent, legal guardian, or person designated by the parent or legal guardian). All guardians must be over the age of 18 by January 9, 2015 and be a registered member of the convention. Minors must arrive at the convention with a parent or guardian, bring to the convention a printed PERMISSION SLIP, signed by a parent or guardian, and must turn said slip in to Registration in order to receive their membership badge. Any minor who arrives without a parent, guardian, or PERMISSION SLIP will be denied entry into the convention and their membership fee will be forfeit.
Minors ages 16 and 17 must either arrive at the convention with a parent or guardian and have a printed PERMISSION SLIP signed by the parent or guardian OR have permission from a guardian (a parent or legal guardian) in order to attend the convention and must bring to the convention a printed EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM, signed by a parent or guardian. Any minor age 16 or 17 who arrives without either a parent or guardian and a PERMISSION SLIP or without an EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM will be denied entry into the convention and their membership fee will be forfeit. If the guardian listed is not available to confirm the information on the EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM, said guardian will be called to confirm that the information on said form is accurate and working.
The organizers of Sherlock Seattle do not accept responsibility for the supervision of attending minors; that responsibility remains with the guardian.
