Membership Registration​

​(Effective as of 5-15-2014)

 
The Watson Washington Convention ("Sherlock Seattle") will take place in Seattle, WA at the Broadway Performance Hall on October 21-23, 2016. Everyone who wishes to attend the convention must purchase a membership. Buy your membership early to get the best price and to be sure you'll be able to attend the convention!
 

In order to make the convention more affordable, we've created two different levels of membership.


Basic Membership includes:



• The right to attend the convention provided that you abide by the ​RULES & REGULATIONS
• Membership badge
• Basic Program book

VIP Membership includes:
• The right to attend the convention provided that you abide by the ​RULES & REGULATIONS
• Membership badge
• Deluxe Special Edition Program book
• VIP swag bag full of cool stuff including specially designed postcards, a convention art poster, buttons, a free game, and other nifty things!
Pre-registration is now closed, but there will be plenty of tickets available at the door!
At-the-Door
Basic Membership = $60
VIP Membership = $80
Friday Basic/VIP = $20/$40
Saturday Basic/VIP = $30/$50
Sunday Basic/VIP = $20/$40
 
If you bought a Basic Membership and want to upgrade to a VIP Membership membership, you can do so at the convention.
 

​​​​​​Everyone attending Sherlock Seattle is required to fill out the Membership Registration form and make a payment in order to receive a membership badge and be admitted into the convention. By  signing the Membership Registration form or by attending  Sherlock Seattle, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in our RULES & REGULATIONS.

 
Your membership badge must be visibly displayed while in designated convention space. Anyone who cannot produce a current membership badge upon request will be asked to leave the convention.

REFUND/TRANSFER POLICY

Sherlock Seattle memberships are non-refundable, but you can transfer your membership to another individual or defer it to the next year. To transfer a membership, simply fill out the MEMBERSHIP TRANSFER FORM no later than October 15, 2016. Please be advised that the new member will need to fill out their own Membership Registration form. To be effective all membership transfers must be received by October 15, 2016. Completing the Membership Transfer form without completing a new Membership Registration form will result in a forfeiture of the membership. If you wish to defer your membership to the next year, please email​ to let us know. The only instance in which memberships will be refunded is if the convention is cancelled.  
 
RIGHT OF REFUSAL
The Sherlock Seattle organizers reserve the right to refuse or withdraw membership.

MEMBERSHIP OF MINORS​



Sherlock Seattle welcomes everyone 12 and older to attend the convention. A minor as defined by the State of Washington is anyone under the age of 18. All minors 15 and under are required to have a parent, legal guardian or individual, designated by the parent or legal guardian, who is on-site when the minor is on-site. All guardians must be over the age of 18 and be a registered member of the convention. Minors must bring to the convention a MINOR PERMISSION SLIP, signed by a parent or guardian.
 
Minors age 16 and 17 may attend the convention by following the instructions above or, if they wish, they can attend without a guardian However, in order to do so they must have permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to attend and to prove this they  must bring to the convention an EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM, signed by a parent or guardian.

PRIVACY POLICY

The Sherlock Seattle organizers collect the following: registration information submitted during the registration process: real names, badge names, physical addresses, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers. This information is used to organize and host our events, communicate with members, and check in members at Registration. This information is not shared with any third party, except the credit card companies and payment services (e.g., PayPal) used to process membership fees. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process.​
